The development and improvement of materials are key factors for socioeconomic advancements worldwide. Recent advancements in materials informatics, AI, and data-centric technologies are revolutionizing the field. However, the lack of coordination in European research hampers the impact of material innovations. The EuMINe COST Action aims to promote an interdisciplinary community focused on applying materials informatics to advanced materials. EuMINe strives to harmonize approaches and resources, creating a shared European knowledge base. Collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders is essential, and EuMINe connects scientific institutions, stakeholders, and computing infrastructures. Such COST networking tools are crucial for fostering collaborations, increasing the impact of European research, and developing training opportunities.
