OTHER INFORMATION

Robert Kalendarev: Dr. Phys., Senior researcher in the Laboratory of Thin Films at ISSP He has 20 years of experience in R&D in electrochromic, transparent conducting oxide thin films, HiPIMS.
R. Kalendarev is one of co-authors in paper Nature volume 281, page 60 "A new phase in solid state arsenic": https://www.nature.com/articles/281060a0
He received the prestigious LAS awards of Latvian Science's Top 10 Achievement in the 2017 and 2010.
He has participate in the creation of the Thin Film Laboratory at the ISSP.
Thin films and coating technologies represent an enabling ISSP core technology platform. Based on more than 20 years of experience in vacuum deposition and thin film technologies, a well-equipped instrument park of thin film and coating systems (including HiPIMS and related characterisation) and an extensive collaboration network with national industry and international research networks have been established.
He has accumulated a deep knowledge of the materials, technologies and characterisation techniques that will be used in the project.
