The Workshop "Synchrotron Radiation Day" will be dedicated to the information exchange and
establishing of collaboration between Latvian
and Sweedish researchers in the field of Synchrotron Radiation and related activities.
We invite the researchers from all Latvian institutions, working in the fields of physics,
chemistry and biology, to participate in this event.
The Workshop will introduce into the state-of-the-art in Synchrotron Radiation research at the
MAX-lab (Lund, Sweden), a Swedish national laboratory, and
Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia (Riga, Latvia).

The Workshop will be held on May 16, 2008 at the
Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP)
of the University of Latvia (Kengaraga street 8, Riga, Latvia).
